Dr. Hsu grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia, PA. She endured the cold winters of Cambridge, MA to obtain her A.B. degree from Harvard University, graduating magna cum laude. Dr. Hsu then returned to Philadelphia and received her MD from Jefferson Medical College. As a medical student, Dr. Hsu became interested in the surgical specialty of ophthalmology and successfully matched at New York University (NYU) and the Manhattan Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital in New York, NY for her ophthalmology residency. This was followed by additional surgical training in pediatric ophthalmology and adult strabismus at the Casey Eye Institute of the Oregon Health Sciences University (OHSU) in Portland, OR.
Dr. Hsu is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and is an active fellow of the American Association of Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
